R & D Center

In 2005, HEC established the General Research Institute, which consists of three branches: the Pharmaceutical Research Institute, the Great Health Research Institute and the New Energy Research Institute. Through 18 years of unremitting efforts, it has possessed continuous and systematic research and development capabilities. The research and development concept is occidentalized, the scientific research talents are globalized, and the research and development and testing equipment are first-class.

Scientific and perfect management system

The institute has established a scientific and perfect R&D management system: administratively, it has set up a vertical department and a horizontal project team. The department is centered on hardware and software construction, and the project team is centered on promoting the progress of a single project, with an alternate development of divided and combined; it can independently carry out the research and development of various large and small molecules of new drugs throughout the whole process; it sets up project equity in the allocation, and each research and development personnel has the corresponding right to dividends after the project is successful according to their responsibilities, workload and contribution. Basic salary, pre-dividends, formal dividends, and technology incentive regulations ensure that HEC's research and development is a community of interests that thinks and works hard, competes without struggle, and complements but not demolishes, rather than a big alliance of self-employed individuals fighting each other and with ill-conceived ideas.

50,000 m2 standard laboratory

The research institute has a standard laboratory of 50,000 square meters, 20 LC/MS instruments, 2 NMR instruments, more than 400 high-performance liquid chromatography and more than 40 gas chromatographs, as well as XRD diffractometers, Raman spectrometers, online crystal particle size analyzer and other world-class, supporting experimental equipment and testing instruments; established laboratory information management systems such as OpenLab, and has international advanced database resources such as American Chemical Society, Elsevier, Thomson Reuters, Derwent, etc.
